Supplementary Rules for Children under 10 years of Age

1. Children should be supervised by an adult when in the pool, pond or stable areas.

2. Big ball games should only be played in the fields.

3. Painting and other 'wet' games should be confined to the summerhouse. (summer only).

4. Only water drinks should be taken into the bedrooms and lounges.

5. Slippers (no buckles) should always be worn in the house (or bare feet!).

6. When using tables for writing a protective board or mat should be used.

7. The protective covers on the beds should not be removed.

8. The 'throwovers' provided should be used on the sofas and easy chairs at all times.

9. Guests will be provided with clean linen each week but will need to strip and make up their beds.

10. Any spillages on carpets or upholstery should be cleaned immediately (cleaning materials provided). Significant spillages or breakages should be advised to us at the time.

11. Push chairs and similar items should not be store in the apartment. They can be put into the downstairs W.C.

12. Parents are requested to discourage their children from jumping across the stairwell as this is dangerous.

13. Ornaments etc that could be damaged should be placed where children cannot reach or accidentally break them.

Please note that the returnable breakage deposit is increased to £400 when young children are present.
